LOVE the "healthy" snack! My daughter is 7. She won't poke anywhere but the middle of her fingertips, which I think is the most painful part. Oh well, I guess as long as they are doing the pokes that's what matters, right? :)
I posted pics of the "Diabetes Command Center" & supply storage cabinet in my kitchen-- you can take a peek HERE if you'd like! :)
I have never seen a child poke their palm! What a trail blazer! Really cool!
I've never seen a kid poke their palm either :) I would have never thought of that, good to know I can mix it up for my girls...if they will let me :)
She's so beautiful. Caleb wouldn't use his fingers for a couple years either. He used his arms until we started with the Multiclix which he found to hurt less. Who knows, maybe I just brainwashed him. We've never really given the palm idea a proper "go". It could give his poor fingertips a break.
Mmmm, I could go for a healthy(?) snack right now. :)
